Innotech
Industrial Supplies was founded in 1986 as an importing
agency with specific maintenance and repair products targeted principally
at the mining industry. In 1989 Innotech was offered
the national marketing rights for “Viva Board” manufactured
in Thailand. This board was a wood chip and resin board in direct
competition with Hardie’s products.
As a result of this Innotech Industrial Supplies embarked into
a new venture by creating a new company, Innotech Building Systems,
a manufacturer of kit and transportable homes based in Western
Australia. Innotech Industrial Supplier retained 51% of
the shares of Innotech Building Systems, the rest
being taken by other individuals.

In
1992 Innotech Industrial Supplies developed polyethylene
moulded septic tanks as a lightweight alternative to the heavy concrete
tanks being used at that time by Innotech Building Systems and others.
The success of these products led to a change of direction for Innotech
Industrial Supplies whereby the 51% holding in Innotech Building
Systems was sold to the other shareholders and Innotech Industrial
Supplies concentrated on its core business.
Subsequently the growth in the moulded products side of the business
superseded other agency lines resulting in the current status of
the company, which is primarily aimed at trade and domestic
waste and waste treatment products, utilising the light
weight, durable and resilient characteristics of polyethylene as
opposed to concrete products.
